The St. Nicholas Choir consists of the youngest members of the Choirs of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd. Members include both boys and girls ranging from 4 years to 2nd grade.
Rehearsals are held on Wednesday nights from 5:30 pm until 6:15 pm. The first fifteen minutes of the rehearsal are used for stretching the body and warming up the voice, reciting the Chorister’s Prayer, and singing a familiar song with the St. Cecilia Choir. Choristers are encouraged to take music home with them to rehearse with their parents or music teachers.
Choir rehearsals begin in September of each year, with the Choir presenting a musical offering with the St. Cecilia Choir the first Sunday of each month. All choirs participate in the music ministry during Advent and Easter.
