Mozart's Cosi fan tutte
by the Jacksonville University Opera Theater
Bobb Robinson, stage director
Join the JU Opera Theatre as they perform Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s
beloved comic opera Cosi fan tutte in English with a decidedly American twist!
Randy and Goose, big shots in 1962 Springfield, Ohio, believe their fiancées
Florrie and Dee Dee to be the very paragons of virtue. But can the girls be
swayed by the handsome, exotic new strangers in town? They can if local
pizza parlor owner “Don Alfonso” has anything to say about it! Don’t miss this
timeless tale of misdirection, mistaken identity, and the discovery of true love
presented in the ideal setting of Good Shepherd's chamber opera theater.
Free and open to the public. Donations welcome.
