Music at Good Shepherd
Connecting past, present, and future through art and music

Chancel Choir
Good Shepherd has a long tradition of excellence in music. The choir consists of 20 volunteer singers who lead the singing of hymns and canticles. The choir also offers an Introit, Offertory Anthem, and Fraction Anthem every Sunday. We believe any offering should be of the highest caliber as is only fitting for our worship.
The choir’s repertoire ranges from music of the Renaissance and earlier to the present day. On High Feast Days, members of the Chamber Music Society of Good Shepherd often accompany the Good Shepherd Choir. In addition to its regular Sunday duties, the choir has also taken part in choral works with the Chamber Music Society and likewise offers two annual Choral Evensongs.
Membership in the choir is open to all who enjoy singing! A positive attitude, an ability to blend, and a great work ethic are always a plus. Rehearsals are in the Good Shepherd Choir Room on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 9:00. Anyone interested in joining us in our musical endeavors should feel free to contact Shannon Gallier at 387-5691, ext. 11 or sgallier@goodshepherd23.org.
